Garage Props (Obduction, 2016)

I played a significant role in shaping the overall look and feel of the gas station and garage area in Obduction. My responsibilities included creating props that authentically captured the atmosphere of a vintage service station. To achieve this, I conducted extensive research on tools and equipment from the 1950s and earlier, ensuring each asset felt era-appropriate and grounded in realism.

Modeling was completed in 3DS Max, with texturing handled in Photoshop. Our material pipeline was designed for versatility, allowing objects to be reused across the environment while maintaining visual variety. This approach ensured a cohesive yet dynamic space for players to explore.

Note: Some initial blockout work may have been completed on certain assets before I contributed, and some material updates may have been applied after my pass.

General garage area. Most of the props you see in this area were done by myself.
I created the liscence plates, where is a major puzzle for the world of Hunrath.
Most of the tools you see were created by me.

Power Station
I worked on the model (High and Low) on this power junction station) and the first pass of materials. This station serves as an important puzzle and narrative element, and has doors that open and the knife switch that changes positions.

"Calculator" and cash register display.
I did the final mesh of the calculator 'arms' and the stand it is attached to. I also made the cash register.
This piece serves as an important puzzle and narrative element in Obduction.
