While Zed was primarily developed by Eagre Games and Skymap Games, my collaboration with Cyan Worlds and Cyan Ventures brought me onto the project near its completion to help bring it over the finish line. My primary contributions included refining and completing the Memory Fragments — narrative-driven hero props that players collected to trigger key lines of dialogue from the narrator.
Additionally, I created all the sketches for the in-game journal, which dynamically populated as players gathered the fragments. I also handled the formatting of the final in-game book, ensuring a polished and immersive experience. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this project was embracing the game's historical and vintage narrative, allowing me to design era-specific artwork that seamlessly complemented the story.
Beyond asset creation, I contributed to general in-engine work, assisting with level clean-up, fixing bugs, and making environment art adjustments. I also had the opportunity to design all of the achievement artwork for the game's Steam release.
